THE ENGAGEMENT

Our engagement was a moment we will never forget. We have a tradition whenever we move into a new apartment: on the first night, we don’t unpack. Instead, we sit on the floor surrounded by moving boxes, light candles, eat pizza, and drink beer.

When we finally got the keys to our new apartment on December 20th, 2022, Kim got down on one knee and proposed. And in case it wasn’t obvious—Marius said yes!

3 QUESTIONS FOR THE COUPLE

1. What has been the most memorable moment in your relationship so far?
This is such a difficult question to answer! We’ve been on so many amazing trips together and experienced so many incredible things. We powered through six Disney parks in four days, had unforgettable adventures in Thailand, LA, New York, Mauritius, Mexico, Paris, Barcelona, London, and countless other places…

But if we had to choose, it might just be May 17th, 2018, around 1:30 AM outside F6, when Marius asked: "Should we be a couple?"

We then celebrated by going to NOX—a club known for being a gathering spot for pretentious 20-year-olds from the West End… also referred to as hell on earth. But not even the crowd at NOX could ruin this moment!

2. What are you most proud of in your relationship?
That we have found someone we can truly be ourselves with—through both the good and the bad! And that we both feel an overwhelming sense of support and encouragement from each other every single day.

3. Is there something you are especially looking forward to on your wedding day?
Celebrating love in this way is a dream neither of us ever thought would come true! We think the moment we are both most excited (and nervous) about is the ceremony itself. Our best men should be ready with fans and tissues because we are two very emotional souls!

OUR JOURNEY

Our journey together began in 2015 when we met during the IDOL auditions in Oslo. Kim was nervously heading in for his audition, while Marius was excited because it was his first day as a director... and who was the first person Marius interviewed? It was Kim!

It would still take 3 more years before we met again. At a time when neither of us believed in love, we weren't trying to impress each other, and we got to meet the true versions of each other right from our first date.

On May 17, 2018, we finally became a couple, and we’ve shared countless adventures since. Our love has only grown stronger with each passing day, and we’re grateful for all the moments we’ve shared. Now, we’re excited for what the future holds.

FILMING FOR A TV SHOW

We have said yes to being part of a TV series that will follow our journey leading up to the wedding, as well as the celebration itself. We want to share this special experience with the audience because we believe it’s important to showcase queer love on TV. At the same time, it’s essential to us that our wedding remains a genuine and intimate celebration—not just a TV production.

There will be cameras present throughout the weekend, but the main focus is on us. They will not be filming all the time and will keep a low profile. As for speeches and special moments, the production has little to no interest in capturing these.

We want everyone to feel relaxed and enjoy our wedding, so if it's important to you that any contribution you make is not filmed, please let us know.

18:30 – Mingling and Light Snacks
There will be simple food and drinks served. Take the time to catch up with old friends and get to know new faces before the big day – maybe with a few surprises in store.

22:30 – Evening Close
We wrap up the celebration and thank you for a wonderful evening together. Remember to save some energy for the big day tomorrow!

13:00 – Ceremony
Location: The Garden
We gather to celebrate love as we say "I do" to each other. A heartfelt welcome to all!

14:00 – Welcome Drinks and Mingling
Location: The Terrace
Refreshments and light snacks will be served as we mingle and enjoy ourselves before dinner.

17:00 – Wedding Dinner
Take your seats – it's time for dinner! We hope you enjoy a delicious meal with us, filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and touching moments.

21:30 – First Dance and Party!
The celebration truly begins now! We will have our first dance as a married couple, and afterward, we hope to see all of you on the dance floor.

03:00 – Thank You for the Night
We thank you for an unforgettable day filled with love, joy, and memories for a lifetime.

Start the day with a delicious and relaxed breakfast or brunch with us. Bring a smile, share fun memories from yesterday, and enjoy a calm start to our farewell day.

12:00 – Thank You and Farewell
We say our goodbyes and wish everyone a safe journey home. A heartfelt thank you for sharing this magical weekend with us – we will cherish these memories forever.

Welcome Party: Cocktail – Think summer-inspired, festive outfits such as dresses, suits, or smart trousers and blazers.

Wedding Day: Black Tie – Long gowns for the ladies and dark suits (preferably tuxedos) for the gentlemen.

But most importantly: Wear something you feel comfortable and confident in – all colors are welcome. Please refrain from wearing white.
